Today we feature what is probably the most depressing song in the history of "Steve's 25 Days of Christmas Music"… so how's that to kick off a Monday?! It's Vera Lynn's rendition of The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot, the heartwarming song about a kid who has broken toys, was completely ignored by Santa, and doesn't even have a Dad. Now that's Christmas cheer!

Fits your theme perfectly, BUT not what I think of when I think Christmas music.
The chorus of this song is featured in the movie "Jingle All the Way." I've always wondered how the rest of the song went. Thanks for featuring it.
I love the contrast of the home-y feel of the music and the depressing lyrics. There should be a follow up song about how the boy grew up to wear tear streaked eyeliner, black clothing and started an emo punk band.
